• Get Rid of Toothache and Relieve Pain at Home in Just a Few Minutes

    Most children and adults are affected with tooth decay, which is the no.1 cause for toothache. The oral bacteria in your mouth, which feed on the sugars and starches you ingest, produce enamel-eroding acids, the main cause of tooth decay in humans.
    1. Salt in warm water for toothache
    Mix a flat tablespoon of salt in a glass of warm water. This salt water will reduce swelling and inflammation caused by toothache when used as a mouth wash.
    2. Oil pulling for tooth infection
    Put 2 tablespoons of oil in your mouth, then swish it around for 15-20 minutes. The main benefit of oil pulling is that it reduces the amount of harmful bacteria in the mouth, thus lowering the risk of tooth infection. Bad breath and yellow teeth can also be treated like this if you oil pull for a few days in a row.
    3. Salt and pepper for pain relief
    Owing to their strong anti-bacterial properties, salt and pepper can effectively soothe and relieve toothache. Mix equal portions of regular table salt and pepper with a little water to make toothpaste. Apply this remedy on the infected tooth and let it act for a couple of minutes.
    4. Garlic for toothache
    Garlic is another efficient home remedy for toothache. Simply crush a garlic clove or take some garlic powder and mix it with some table salt. Apply this directly on the infected tooth. Chewing one or two garlic cloves can give even better results. Continue with this treatment for a few days.
    5. Cloves are natural pain reliever
    Smash 2 cloves and mix them with some olive or any vegetable oil. Apply this on the painful area. It’s an extremely effective pain reliever. Besides, you can mix drops of clove oil in a glass of water and rinse your mouth with it.
    6. Ginger is a good remedy
    Soak some fresh ginger root in water for a while then gargle with it.
    7. Ice cube pack at home
    Crush some ice, put it in gauze and press it over your jaw or cheeks. You can also put a crushed ice cube in your mouth or gargle with icy cold water for a few minutes.
    8. Onion can help
    Due to their strong antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, onions are highly beneficial for relieving toothache. To reduce the pain, simply chew a raw onion for a few minutes.
    9. Turmeric for cavity pain
    Mix a few drops of mustard oil with half a teaspoon of turmeric powder to create a thick paste. Apply this on your cavity and leave it for 15 minutes before you spit it out. To relieve the pain, do this regularly.
    10. Tea beg for toothache
    Owing to the presence of astringent tannin, black tea can reduce swelling and temporarily relieve pain.
    11. Guava leaves is a herbal remedy
    Simply chew 2 or 3 guava leaves. Or, put some guava leaves in boiling water adding some salt in it. When it cools off, use it as a mouth wash.
    12. Peppermint leaves to get rid of pain
    Chewing some fresh peppermint leaves can efficiently alleviate pain. Dried leaves can also be used in case you can’t obtain fresh ones.
